My Grandfather Ola´s Cousin Olav Meisdalshagen Was A Minister For The Labour Party & A Lawyer. He Was The Leader Of The Resistance Movement, Milorg, In London In 1944. Olav M. Was The Best Friend Of King Olav. Olav M. Wanted To Offset The King After The War.
After The War As Minister Of Finance, Olav Meisdalshagen, Asked Economist Ragnar Frisch To Return From The US To Work On The Establishment Of The National Budget At Statistics Norway. In 1969 Ragnar Frisch Shared The Nobel Prize In Economic Sciences With Jan Tinbergen From Sweden. Further, Meisdalshagen Among Other Things Established The Food Chain Coop.

Olav Meisdalshagen´s Favourite Aunt Was Anne, The Mum Of My Grandfather In Valdres. Due To His Work For The Resistance Movement During WW2 In Valdres, My Grandfather, Ola, Got A Medal From The King. Grandfather Was A Carpenter & Grandmother Came From The Second Largest Farm In The Valley Of Skrautvål. I Have Spent Most Summer- & Easter Vacations In Valdres.
